Social responsibilty

Mint Cares

At Mint WellBeing, we strongly believe in taking responsibility for our society. We must all contribute to create communities we can be proud of. Amongst others, this includes standing up for our environment, providing inclusive services to improve physical & mental health and financing research to strive towards cures for conditions which affect us all.

Mint proudly 'reduces, reuses & recycles' wherever possible.

We keep printed material to a minimum, preferring to communicate electronically.

Mint makes a green choice when printing is required - we choose Printline (, a locally owned company who use only FSC certified or 100% recycled paper in all our products. Printline also recycle all print-related waste and consumables, and use organic non-toxic inks.

Mental Health

WellBeing encompasses not just your physical health, but your mental and emotional needs too.

Increased levels of stress have been linked to mental illness as well as cardiovascular disease - massage therapy can reduce stress.

We provide group training sessions - being a part of a group provides socialisation for women who may find themselves otherwise isolated. This has been shown to improve mental health status, particularly reducing the incidence of post-natal depression.

Preventative Health

Recently, Mint lost a young friend - Bruce McCulloch - to skin cancer. His wonderful wife Janet, and their adorable daughter Zoe continue to inspire us all.  Mint asks that you protect yourself from the harsh Australian sun (by slip,slop,slap-ping and having your skin regularly checked). For all outdoor sessions, Mint will provide suncream and encourage the use of hats and clothing to protect the skin from UV damage.

Mint encourages all women to maintain regular medical health checks - we will soon be providing a check list to ensure you are up-to-date with your preventative health care.

Our BioAge assessments provide a snapshot of your body's real age, and can help guide you towards which changes you should make to improve your health.

Increasing physical activity reduces your risk of developing heart disease and some cancers - simply by participating you are improving your long-term WellBeing.

Mint will donate $1.00 from every package purchased to:

International Women's Development Agency -  an Australian not-for-profit organisation that supports women and their communities in developing countries. Their practical and rights-based projects directly address poverty and inequality. They believe that women are agents of change and development can only be effective and sustainable if women are active participants in all aspects - livelihood and economic empowerment, safety and security, social, physical and mental health, education, environmental sustainability and civil and political participation. When women benefit, the whole community benefits.

We will also be holding fundraising events throughout the year, and we appreciate your suggestions and support wherever possible.

Social Policy

Mint is concerned for your safety - this is why we require you to keep us up to date with any changes in your medical health. All Mint trainers have current First Aid Certificates, as well as Police Clearances and Working with Children Checks. Our equipment is excellent quality, with appropriate safety standards for our participants. The outdoor facilities are inspected regularly, but please help us keep everyone safe by identifying any potential hazards.

Mint is proud to embrace Australia's anti-discrimination laws, the Fitness Industry Code of Practice, the AAMT Code of Conduct and the Fair Trading Act.

Mint respects your privacy and will never pass on your personal information, unless legally required to do so.
